Silverio Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Gerardo Virila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maximiliano Maju. Gerardo Virila showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Silverio Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Chago in the 21st minute of play. Cumbia Cerveza y River's Maximiliano Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Virila in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Cumbia Cerveza y River got a freekick which was hit by Teo Pes. When Conrado Rudolfo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cumbia Cerveza y River's protests and gave Conrado Rudolfo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Conrado Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Araoz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Silverio Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Rudolfo in the 35th minute of the match. Agustin Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Matteo having to interfere. Agustin Chago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silverio Matteo having to make a save. Silverio Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cumbia Cerveza y River's zone, Eduardo Salvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Maju came out of the goal and Eduardo Salvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Maju having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Agustin Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cumbia Cerveza y River's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Chago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Matteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Chago got free with Silverio Matteo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silverio Matteo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Chago in the 79th minute. Agustin Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Cumbia Cerveza y River's Agustin Chago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Matteo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Independiente's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
