In the 15th minute, Stockholm syn's Jorge Emeterio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santiago Orkatz. Santiago Orkatz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Stockholm syn's Vladimiro Arnalt got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Leandro Alem defense, Leonardo Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Orkatz. The Leandro Alem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Orkatz should have stopped the shot. Santiago Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Rolando Pepillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockholm syn's Baldomiro Raphael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Arnalt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Stockholm syn's zone, Alejo Eduino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Raphael came out of the goal and Alejo Eduino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Pepillo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Baldomiro Raphael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leandro Alem. When Leandro Alem's Rolando Pepillo in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stockholm syn's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Pepillo made a kick off. Santiago Orkatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Barbosa in the 53rd minute of the match. Rolando Pepillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Raphael having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Rolando Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leandro Alem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Pepillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Orkatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Barbosa in the 63rd minute of the match. Santiago Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Leandro Alem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockholm syn the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Leandro Alem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Che to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Leandro Alem got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Che. Santiago Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Leonardo Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Pepillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomiro Raphael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolando Pepillo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Rolando Pepillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Raphael was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Stockholm syn were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Leandro Alem for a fine match.
