An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Cordarrell in the 33rd minute of play forced Los Correcaminos's goalkeeper Tomás Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play Los Correcaminos's Eliseo Juvenal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. Los Correcaminos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOEDO the free kick. A collision led to Los Correcaminos getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cristian Indar hit a great ball. Feliberto Odol charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Odol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
