Nunez Tercero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Tercero having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Salvadore during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes NEWELLS 74 got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Salvadore. Higinio Tancredo scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorio Gentza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
