The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Pinto was the one to do the kick off. Francisco Iruinea hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Etxahun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Confesor was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Peumayen's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Ganix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Abastas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafino Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mariano Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Ganix struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mariano Abastas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peumayen. Teo Confesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Endura in the 89th minute of the match. Baldomero Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Confesor having to interfere. Nicolas Etxahun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Confesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Peumayen's Teo Confesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Etxahun in the 98th minute of play. Peumayen's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because GüntherNauthen FC had won, even though Peumayen had held more of the ball.
