Pourtalé AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosendo Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Dantel having to interfere. Editado's Victoriano Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Ler in the 30th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gerardo Ler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Editado's Victoriano Dantel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Rosendo Filipo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Dantel. Editado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Filipo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosendo Filipo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Editado's Laureano Lore got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gerardo Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Victoriano Dantel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Filipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Dantel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Rosendo Filipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Pourtalé AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Editado throughout the match.
