That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Aquiles Mancio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Matadores F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calafate FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Los Matadores F.C's Aquiles Mancio got a free kick in the 20th minute. During the 22nd minute of the match Aquiles Mancio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aquiles Mancio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Clementi in the 24th minute of play forced Calafate FC's goalkeeper Felipe Cordareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Ospetsu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Felipe Cordareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Matadores F.C. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Macerio got free with Felipe Cordareo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mauricio Clementi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Los Matadores F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Clementi couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Calafate FC's goalkeeper Felipe Cordareo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Macerio. After a rather tough play, Calafate FC's Arnoldo Henric got a free kick in the 37th minute. Calafate FC's Felipe Cordareo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Calafate FC from getting a goal against them. Felipe Cordareo was a little too slow when Cipriano Ospetsu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. Cipriano Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Felipe Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cipriano Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alto Gato made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cipriano Ospetsu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Calafate FC's Felipe Cordareo. Felipe Cordareo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Calafate FC's zone, Cipriano Ospetsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Cordareo came out of the goal and Cipriano Ospetsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Calafate FC defense, Cipriano Ospetsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Cordareo. The Calafate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Cordareo should have stopped the shot. After 66 minutes, Cipriano Ospetsu made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Calafate FC's Felipe Cordareo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erasmo Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Felipe Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Cordareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Clementi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Ospetsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Cordareo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Los Matadores F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
