When Placido Eate came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Latorre Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Eate couldn't finish the play. Latorre Fútbol Club's Jairo Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremias Gilesindo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Frenchi FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Mancio. After some careless play in the Frenchi FC defense, Jairo Paul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Gaizkine. The Frenchi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Gaizkine should have stopped the shot. Frenchi FC's Isaac Mancio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Saturnino Matthew in the 25 minute of the game. In the 37th minute Jairo Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Gaizkine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Paul went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Aldo Gaizkine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Eate, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Placido Eate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Latorre Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Eate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Gaizkine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Frenchi FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Latorre Fútbol Club were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Paul was the one to do the kick off. Frenchi FC's Jeremias Gilesindo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Frenchi FC's zone, Jairo Paul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Gaizkine came out of the goal and Jairo Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Frenchi FC defense, Jairo Paul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Gaizkine. The Frenchi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Gaizkine should have stopped the shot. Aldo Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Latorre Fútbol Club's Jairo Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Placido Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Hartz during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Danilo Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Aldo Gaizkine made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jairo Paul sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 90 minutes, Melquiades Harriet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Latorre Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Harriet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jairo Paul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Gaizkine was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the match was over Latorre Fútbol Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Frenchi FC throughout the match.
