But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Leobardo couldn't finish the play. Alonzo Clis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bonifacio Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerati F.C.'s Bonifacio Gabirel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Cerati F.C. from getting a goal against them. Bonifacio Gabirel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Clis in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Saladillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Panpili came free, but Carmelo Mikeldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Belmiro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Honorio Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cerati F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
