A collision led to Elena AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Marnix Wehkamp hit a great ball. If Benedicto Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Racing got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Domingues. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Marnix Wehkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elena AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marnix Wehkamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Eguzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the game, Ladislao Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elena AFC the free kick. Ulises Ricart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Racing's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Nayely came free, but Joaquin Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Eugenio Pueblo in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Elena AFC's Marnix Wehkamp. The referee gave Racing a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eugenio Pueblo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elena AFC's Fabio Urtungo. 0-1. The Elena AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Racing were winning 0-1.

In the 59th minute, Ermegildo Oskitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Nayely fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 66th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. 67 minutes into the match, Ismael Nayely notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Racing's Joaquin Eguzki. Joaquin Eguzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedicto Ignatius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Urtungo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Ignatius in the 78th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Benedicto Ignatius took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Fabio Urtungo to make any attempt to save it. Ulises Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Elena AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Racing to win.
