The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Castel got free with Jaime George in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gaspar Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Gaspar Lauaxeta made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vilmer FC's Mariano Feliu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Castel got free with Jaime George in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Lauaxeta in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Feliu saved Vilmer FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Lauaxeta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Feliu was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Teodoro Idacio's late challenge caught a Vilmer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Lauaxeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Leandro Lehen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triver FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Lehen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Lauaxeta struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Mariano Feliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triver FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gaspar Lauaxeta made the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Lauaxeta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Feliu having to make a save. In the 63rd minute, Triver FC's Gaspar Lauaxeta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mariano Feliu. Vilmer FC's Mariano Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Bixintxo in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Vilmer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Lauaxeta came free, but Mariano Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Triver FC's Gaspar Lauaxeta got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mariano Dubardo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilmer FC's protests and gave Mariano Dubardo a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Vilmer FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Dubardo. After having played for 79 minutes, Gaspar Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triver FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Lauaxeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Lauaxeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mariano Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Feliu having to interfere. Gaspar Lauaxeta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Feliu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Gaspar Lauaxeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mariano Feliu made a huge save.
