The audience was convinced that Octavio Ciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prudencio Bastia was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 8th match minute, RealBañiles CucharaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Amor to maneuver through the defense. If Aureliano Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RealBañiles CucharaFC's Octavio Ciano got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Quintan having to interfere. Prudencio Bastia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes Sañogasta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucio Tiso who took care of the corner kick. After 24 played minutes RealBañiles CucharaFC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Amor. Aureliano Silban had several of the RealBañiles CucharaFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Silvestre Quintan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Romeo Etor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Silvestre Quintan made a huge save. If Octavio Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Marciano Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Ciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Marciano Donostia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prudencio Bastia. Sañogasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marciano Donostia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Silban to make the kick off. The supporters of RealBañiles CucharaFC booed when Sañogasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Erdiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to RealBañiles CucharaFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Albino Ladio hit a great ball. Romeo Etor struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Silvestre Quintan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sañogasta. Marciano Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Sañogasta's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Donostia came free, but Prudencio Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when RealBañiles CucharaFC's Marciano Donostia in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Prudencio Bastia was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Sañogasta through an amazing save. Octavio Cianos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Prudencio Bastia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sañogasta's Prudencio Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Donostia in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Silban in the 87th minute of play forced RealBañiles CucharaFC's goalkeeper Silvestre Quintan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, RealBañiles CucharaFC's Marciano Donostia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Bastia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Marciano Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
