Sañogasta's Aureliano Silban got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aureliano Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Etor in the 6th minute of play forced Racing's goalkeeper Joaquin Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Eguzki came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Sañogasta's Romeo Etor. But to his dismay, Romeo Etor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Prudencio Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Romeo Etor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Eguzki was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Racing's Fermin Cresencio got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 26 minutes, Aureliano Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sañogasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Silban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ladislao Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing's protests and gave Ladislao Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Racing got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Domingues. Sañogasta were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Racing's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacinto Santana took the corner. Jacinto Santana made a great header on Sañogasta's corner, it was just that Racing's Joaquin Eguzki managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute, Santo Martxelin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 played minutes Sañogasta got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Ixona. Racing were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Sañogasta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugenio Pueblo took the corner. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Aureliano Silban made the kick off in the second half. Romeo Etor came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joaquin Eguzki could save by the left post. Angel Honesto was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Romeo Etor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Eguzki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joaquin Eguzki was a little too slow when Aureliano Silban got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-2. Prudencio Bastia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Cresencio in the 73rd minute of the match. Benedicto Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Bastia having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Fermin Cresencio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Benedicto Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
