A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hakkı Deniz Hattat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Ildefonso Laurin fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campari's protests and gave Ildefonso Laurin a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Campari got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Laurin. If Angelo Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Deniz Hattat having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salado FC's zone, Ildefonso Laurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Orixe came out of the goal and Ildefonso Laurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Odilon in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Orixe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cirilo Odilon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Claudio Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute of the match Campari got a corner. Salado FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Venancio Sugar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Venancio Sugar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Salado FC's Claudio Orixe did a great save. After 70 played minutes Salado FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Frederik. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Odilon got free with Claudio Orixe in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Tabor charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Tabor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Tabor hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Campari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Vigil to maneuver through the defense. Cirilo Odilon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Claudio Orixe made a huge save. Claudio Orixe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Laurin in the 93rd minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
