The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sixto Guillen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ildefonso Laurin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Ildefonso Laurin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Campari's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ildefonso Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sixto Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixto Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Laurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ildefonso Laurin in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sixto Guillen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hakkı Deniz Hattat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Birjaio in the 21st minute of the match. Sixto Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Odilon, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Ildefonso Laurin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but c.s.estudiantes's Sixto Guillen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in c.s.estudiantes's zone, Cirilo Odilon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Guillen came out of the goal and Cirilo Odilon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, c.s.estudiantes's Emilio Chale got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Arsenio Birjaio's late challenge caught a Campari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Birjaio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Campari booed when c.s.estudiantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ildefonso Laurin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sixto Guillen came out and tried to block the shot, but Ildefonso Laurin slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 49th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Birjaio to strike the kick off in the second half. c.s.estudiantes's Sixto Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Odilon in the 56th minute of play. Ildefonso Laurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Guillen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Cirilo Odilon came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Campari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Odilon couldn't finish the play. Sixto Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Odilon in the 62nd minute of the match. Cesar Silvanito kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Odilon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Guillen was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. c.s.estudiantes's Sixto Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Odilon in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Cirilo Odilon notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of c.s.estudiantes's Sixto Guillen. Sixto Guillen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ildefonso Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. In the game's 84th minute Campari's Venancio Sugar took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Sixto Guillen and thus the score was 4-0. Ildefonso Laurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Guillen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ildefonso Laurin in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Guillen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Laurin in the 100th minute of play forced c.s.estudiantes's goalkeeper Sixto Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. c.s.estudiantes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
