In the 15th minute, Edgard Erauso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixto Guillen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Damian Tohias came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bareiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Tohias couldn't finish the play. Arsenio Birjaio's late challenge caught a Bareiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Birjaio helped the player get up and apologised. Bareiro FC's Domingos Tono was substituted for Marco Jordy. A collision led to c.s.estudiantes getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arsenio Birjaio hit a great ball. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bareiro FC's Godofredo Cordarius fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Godofredo Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Damian Tohias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sixto Guillen made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Godofredo Cordarius sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Godofredo Cordarius made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, c.s.estudiantes's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Tohias came free, but Sixto Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Domingos Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Cordarius in the 63rd minute of the match. Sixto Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Cordarius in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Guillen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Bareiro FC booed when c.s.estudiantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sixto Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Manuel Otsando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. c.s.estudiantes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bareiro FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Godofredo Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bareiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Cordarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Guillen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godofredo Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Tohias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sixto Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godofredo Cordarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Guillen having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, c.s.estudiantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bareiro FC fully deserved thier win.
