The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diego Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Mulitas FC's goalkeeper Diego Ortle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Geleberto. The crowd rose to their feet as Juvenal Caledonians's Edgardo Leizarraga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diego Ortle. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mulitas FC's Ruperto Tolino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germano Burgos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Juvenal Caledonians got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Gonza. Germano Burgos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Tolino in the 19th minute of the match. The referee gave Mulitas FC a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jesus Vincent, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Juvenal Caledonians's Germano Burgos. 1-1. 30 minutes into the game, Dionisio Resto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mulitas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juvenal Caledonians the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mulitas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Jaime Geleberto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Edgardo Leizarraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juvenal Caledonians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Leizarraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Juvenal Caledonians's Isidoro Euloxu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Edgardo Leizarraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Ortle having to make a save. In the 47th minute, Tomás Luix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Gaur was the one to do the kick off. Juvenal Caledonians's Isidoro Euloxu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Euloxu struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Diego Ortle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juvenal Caledonians. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Euloxu in the 61st minute of play forced Mulitas FC's goalkeeper Diego Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Mulitas FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Resto. Jaime Geleberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Ortle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Geleberto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute Isidoro Euloxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Diego Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Luix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Ortle having to interfere. Tomás Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Diego Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Juvenal Caledonians's Jaime Geleberto got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Juvenal Caledonians had played much better football throughout.
