Mulitas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Matia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Ruperto Tolino struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Claudio Orixe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mulitas FC. Godfredo Matia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaston Benvide charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Benvide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Gaston Benvide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mulitas FC's Gaston Benvide got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The tension between the Mulitas FC and the Salado FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Mulitas FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
