Sixto Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Peyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With an all-out effort, c.s.estudiantes's Claudio Orixe threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliberto Guillelmo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sixto Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Peyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Rufio in the 29th minute of the match. Arsenio Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Orixe having to interfere. With a little luck, Salado FC's Claudio Orixe got control of the ball when Emilio Chale tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Emilio Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Chale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Peyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Angelo Rufio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 79 minutes into the game, Arsenio Birjaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Claudio Orixe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliberto Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Feliberto Guillelmo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Birjaio in the 87th minute of play forced Salado FC's goalkeeper Claudio Orixe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Feliberto Guillelmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. c.s.estudiantes fully deserved thier win.
