The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes in the game, Angelo Rufio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ernesto Maldonado having to interfere. In the 24th minute of the match, Angelo Rufio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Maldonado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Humberto Heli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Claudio Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Horquilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Leoncio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Fanuco in the 35th minute of play forced Salado FC's goalkeeper Claudio Orixe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Horquilla FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hector Jenaro hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Luisito Fanuco made the kick off in the second half. Luisito Fanuco got in the 65th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Claudio Orixe handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Angelo Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Maldonado having to interfere. In the 72nd minute of the match Timoteo Obano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Maldonado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salado FC! In the 85th minute of the match Horquilla FC got a corner. Salado FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hector Jenaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ernesto Maldonado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Frederik went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
