Spectators: 7082 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nestor Jerico started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Joaquin Nazario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Gregorio Lazcano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Janimas FC the free kick. After 12 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Lazcano. The crowd rose to their feet as Janimas FC's Nestor Jerico slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Llanos. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Janimas FC defense, Claudio Gorbea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Fidensio. The Janimas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Fidensio should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute of the match, Mauricio Grabiel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrique Llanos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lucas Baumer charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Baumer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Baumer hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Joaquin Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Fidensio having to interfere. Isaias Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Maicon das Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Fidensio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Joaquin Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon das Neves in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Janimas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Claudio Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maicon das Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Maicon das Neves from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Fidensio managed to make a qualified save. Janimas FC's players were relieved. After 53 played minutes Janimas FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Remicio. Joaquin Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Fidensio having to interfere. Joaquin Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Lazcano in the 63rd minute of the match. When Gregorio Lazcano came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Lazcano couldn't finish the play. Boca Juniors's Leon Montrell got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maicon das Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Fidensio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Janimas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Richie to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors's Enrique Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Grabiel in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Remicio in the 73rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Enrique Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Claudio Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Gorbea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Fidensio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Janimas FC's Mauricio Grabiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Llanos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Janimas FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Fidensio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maicon das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Fidensio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Nazario got free with Joaquin Fidensio in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorio Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Joaquin Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Joaquin Fidensio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. After a defensive mix-up in Janimas FC's zone, Gregorio Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Fidensio came out of the goal and Gregorio Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Boca Juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Janimas FC throughout the match.
