In the 13th match minute, Jaguares de Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. When Alonzo Oton came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Mascota fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Oton couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Marco Corderro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaguares de Boedo's Matias Mark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Jaguares de Boedo from getting a goal against them. After having played for 25 minutes, Alonzo Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mascota's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Oton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nereo Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Mark having to interfere. Amadeo Peruanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Natal, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Mascota's Alonzo Oton got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Oton got free with Matias Mark in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Jaguares de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Fernanco. 42 minutes into the match, Mascota's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Natal came free, but Amadeo Peruanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Robustiano Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Liher was the one to do the kick off. Matias Mark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Liher in the 56th minute of the match. Alberto Fernanco kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jaguares de Boedo's zone, Alonzo Oton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Mark came out of the goal and Alonzo Oton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Liher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mascota's Alonzo Oton in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaguares de Boedo's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Jaguares de Boedo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tobias Gagriel hit a great ball. Robustiano Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Amadeo Peruanton made a huge save. In the 82nd match minute, Jaguares de Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Bermudo to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Robustiano Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Humberto Michael hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Jaguares de Boedo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
