In a very dangerous position, a player in Janimas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Vitaminaas. Norberto Abascal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Fidensio. 1-1. Mauricio Grabiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ulises Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Otsando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Jerico's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Mauricio Grabiel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Otsando having to make a save. After some careless play in the Vitaminaas defense, Nestor Jerico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulises Otsando. The Vitaminaas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Otsando should have stopped the shot. If Fermin Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Otsando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Gerardo Gaitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Janimas FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Damario to make the kick off. Janimas FC's Joaquin Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Gaitano in the 52nd minute of play. If Nestor Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Joaquin Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Fidensio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Gaitano's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Joaquin Fidensio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Damario's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. When Gerardo Gaitano came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Vitaminaas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Gaitano couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vitaminaas's goalkeeper Ulises Otsando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nestor Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Gaitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Eliseo Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Gaitano in the 90th minute of play forced Janimas FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Otsando having to interfere. The Janimas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Janimas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
