Boca Juniors's Enrique Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Natal in the 6th minute of play. Enrique Llanos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Fernandez went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Leon Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Igor Natal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Llanos. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Natal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 21st minute, Alberto Fernanco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Llanos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Boca Juniors's Enrique Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Fernandez in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Robustiano Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaguares de Boedo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Armando Gines hit a great ball. Maicon das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Matias Mark made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Natal in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Llanos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maicon das Neves didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-5 via right post in the game's 44th minute. Boca Juniors's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Natal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 81 minutes, Humberto Michael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaguares de Boedo and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Jaguares de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Michael. When Boca Juniors's Joaquin Nazario in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaguares de Boedo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th minute, Saturnino Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boca Juniors's Maicon das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boca Juniors's Gregorio Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Mark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon das Neves in the 94th minute of play. The Boca Juniors manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Jaguares de Boedo to win.
