After 20 played minutes Catenaccio FC got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Leobardo. Everardo Rayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Oalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Casimiro Bieito made a huge save. Severiano Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Los Acalambrados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Rayman to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Catenaccio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Rayman came free, but Guaberto Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Bieito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Oalo in the 31st minute of the match. Feliberto Gauargi charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Gauargi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Catenaccio FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Gauargi. Catenaccio FC's Guaberto Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Pagomari in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Herminio Olando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Oalo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Clemente Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Bieito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Severiano Sayvion fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Acalambrados FC's protests and gave Severiano Sayvion a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Los Acalambrados FC's Severiano Sayvion got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Eustacio Gaspard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casimiro Bieito skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute, Anselmo Oalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Bieito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 62 minutes into the match, Catenaccio FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Abancens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Pagomari. Guaberto Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Rayman in the 69th minute of play. The referee gave Catenaccio FC a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eustacio Gaspard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Acalambrados FC's Casimiro Bieito. 3-1. In the 81st minute, Clemente Esiquio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Pagomari struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Guaberto Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Acalambrados FC. In the 85th minute, Los Acalambrados FC's Everardo Rayman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Los Acalambrados FC's Jonathan Iraunkor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Guaberto Abancens but with some difficulty. Los Acalambrados FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
