In the 12th match minute, Mascota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Corderro to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Barros having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Hechter in the 18th minute of play forced Mascota's goalkeeper Amadeo Peruanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Oton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Recoleta FC's Luis Gonsalvo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alonzo Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Resto hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Nereo Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Recoleta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Oton came free, but Casimiro Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Peruanton came out of the goal and Rolando Hechter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute of the match Haroldo Mogel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeo Peruanton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Freddy Rainerio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes, Recoleta FC's Ruben Hotz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amadeo Peruanton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Recoleta FC reached it. The audience was convinced that Rolando Hechter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo Peruanton was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mascota's goalkeeper Amadeo Peruanton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
