Callejeros United's Eugenio Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Lorien in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Jose Matai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Psicodelia booed when Callejeros United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Psicodelia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Callejeros United:s goal. Gogo Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Lorien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Toribio having to interfere. If Bernardo Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Callejeros United's zone, Erasmo Rik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Toribio came out of the goal and Erasmo Rik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Psicodelia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Callejeros United throughout the match.
