The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aureliano Cresitobalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justino Tonete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, C. A. Platanos's Prospero Karmel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Tonete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Odilon in the 15th minute of play forced Guano FC's goalkeeper Justino Tonete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Tonete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Karmel in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Pueblo got free with Silverio Urdin in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prospero Karmel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C. A. Platanos's Silverio Urdin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Platanos from getting a goal against them. Roque Pitin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Conrado Pueblos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Silverio Urdin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Prospero Karmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Bernardo Odilon made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Guano FC's zone, Bernardo Odilon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Tonete came out of the goal and Bernardo Odilon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Tonete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Adrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When C. A. Platanos's Bernardo Odilon in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guano FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Odilon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 72nd of the match, Bernardo Odilon tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Justino Tonete got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 74th minute, Bernardo Odilon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Silverio Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Guano FC booed when C. A. Platanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Elizardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Cresitobalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Silverio Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Platanos's goalkeeper Silverio Urdin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silverio Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Cresitobalo in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Aureliano Cresitobalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Cresitobalo in the 91st minute of play forced C. A. Platanos's goalkeeper Silverio Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
