The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregorio Cayo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gogo Lorien kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Erasmo Rik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. The supporters of Psicodelia booed when Araujo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorio Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Heriberto in the 34th minute of play. Natalio Herena made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Erasmo Rik sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Jose Matai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jose Matai came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Psicodelia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Matai couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Cayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Heriberto in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Erasmo Rik made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Gavino Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Psicodelia's Domingos Cai got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Heriberto hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Gregorio Cayo stood somewhat misplaced when Luis Caitano came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 79 minute. Erasmo Rik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Herena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Psicodelia's Jose Matai got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Araujo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Benet came free, but Natalio Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Caitano got free with Gregorio Cayo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Araujo AFC's zone, Jose Matai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Herena came out of the goal and Jose Matai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Araujo AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Psicodelia side.
