Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Heriberto in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Raebert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 27 in the game by Luis Caitano from a close distance when the talented Ovidio Raebert managed to make a qualified save. Santalleres FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Luis Caitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araujo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Caitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Raebert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaston Goyo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Roque Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ovidio Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Santalleres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Ekialde came free, but Ovidio Raebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Severo Perico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Natalio Herena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Santalleres FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Diego Bakar hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Perico made a kick off. Araujo AFC's Natalio Herena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Araujo AFC from getting a goal against them. Siro Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Raebert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Caitano went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Luis Caitano came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Araujo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Caitano couldn't finish the play. Severo Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Herena having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Santalleres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Norino to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Damian Ignatius in the 74th minute really tested Natalio Herena's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Luis Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Raebert having to interfere. Roque Ekialde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severo Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Natalio Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siro Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Araujo AFC's Natalio Herena got control of the ball when Siro Ler tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Araujo AFC had played much better football throughout.
