The referee ignored Araujo AFC's protests and gave Rafael Faro a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Araujo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Faro. In the 23rd minute, Deportivo Neandertal's Lucas Lordi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Ekialde made a kick off. Gregorio Urtungo got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 55th minute, Gregorio Urtungo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Deportivo Neandertal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Cebo to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Edmund Luty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lucas Lordi came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Deportivo Neandertal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Lordi couldn't finish the play. If Edmund Luty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Deportivo Neandertal's Honorato Baleren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natalio Herena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Honorato Baleren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Natalio Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
