The goalkeeper, Agustin Emenon, was totally fooled by Santalleres FC's Benedicto Peruxu, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Luca Savino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Santalleres FC's Cecilio Lekubegi got a free kick in the 45th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Luca Savino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lamarque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Savino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lamarque may have spent more time on the ball, but Santalleres FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
