Platanos's Silverio Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Lehen in the 14th minute of play. Agustin Emenon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Karmel went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Agustin Emenon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Odilon in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Vicente Eneas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Odilon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Emenon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Odilon in the 30th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Lamarque's Luca Savino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Urdin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lamarque's Agustin Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Adrio in the 36th minute of play. Simon Satordi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Platanos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Epifanio Cutberto was slow to take the kick. During this time Lamarque's players had a chance to rest. In the 42nd minute of the match, Bernardo Odilon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Agustin Emenon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. C. A. Platanos's Prospero Karmel suffered a concussion after 44 minutes and had to leave the field. Rolando Ixidor's late challenge caught a C. A. Platanos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Ixidor helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, C. A. Platanos's Gregorio Sendoa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Agustin Emenon.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atilano Lehen was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lamarque's Vicente Eneas got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Ceferino Adrio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustin Emenon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Atilano Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Silverio Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lamarque booed when C. A. Platanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Adrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes, Vicente Eneas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lamarque and the C. A. Platanos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vicente Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Bernardo Odilon managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Platanos's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Odilon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Emenon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 played minutes Lamarque got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Eneas. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Bernardo Odilon managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Platanos's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Odilon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Lehen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Silverio Urdin made a huge save. If Bernardo Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 96th minute of the match Vicente Eneas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vicente Eneas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Vicente Eneas hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. C. A. Platanos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lamarque for a fine match.
