The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaston Goyo charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Goyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Santalleres FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gaston Goyo hit a great ball. Ovidio Raebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bernardo Quinten's late challenge caught a Santalleres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Quinten helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardo Quinten kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Erasmo Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Raebert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Benet went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the match, Psicodelia's Clodoveo Benet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Raebert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Santalleres FC's zone, Jose Matai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Raebert came out of the goal and Jose Matai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santalleres FC's Ovidio Raebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Quinten in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jose Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psicodelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Matai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Raebert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santalleres FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Raebert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erasmo Rik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ovidio Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santalleres FC's Ovidio Raebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Matai in the 41st minute of play. If Bernardo Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Santalleres FC's zone, Clodoveo Benet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Raebert came out of the goal and Clodoveo Benet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Psicodelia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severo Perico to make the kick off. Erasmo Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute, Clodoveo Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Psicodelia's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Ler came free, but Gregorio Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Matai took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Raebert. Ovidio Raebert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bernardo Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ovidio Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Raebert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Psicodelia. 82 minutes into the game, Jose Matai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ovidio Raebert. Jose Matai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Ovidio Raebert made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Jose Matai sent off a good shot on target. Erasmo Rik might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Raebert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Rik ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th match minute, Santalleres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Goyo to maneuver through the defense. 0-5 became the score in the 92nd minute when Bernardo Quinten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Psicodelia played a much better game than Santalleres FC and deserved their victory. The Santalleres FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
