Faraones FC's Blas Beltran got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Independiente booed when Faraones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Hustaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Benigno Polo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faraones FC's Marcelo Errolan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelo Errolan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Independiente fully deserved thier win.
