In the 14thth minute of the game Benigno Polo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but rotycks FC's Romulo Oalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Independiente fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Independiente's Benigno Polo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romulo Oalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Polo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Julio Garaile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Admon having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Nayely to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Independiente's Herminio Admon got control of the ball when Salvador Martinez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, rotycks FC's Eliseo Erruki got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Benigno Polo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Benigno Polo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Oalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Romulo Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Polo in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to rotycks FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Amadeo Precioso hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Martinez during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salvador Martinez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Polo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Timo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Salvador Martinez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Admon having to make a save. After 93 played minutes rotycks FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Baudelio.
