Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Inocencio Azevedo made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Amador Santio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Honesto. TOMBA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amador Santio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fabricio Ubarna's late challenge caught a TOMBA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Ubarna helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TOMBA F.C. booed when Irala AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Duarte having to interfere. Ivan Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of Irala AFC booed when TOMBA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Lluterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Irala AFC's Amador Santio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nunez Honesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Cornelio Gregory ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Amador Santio came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Irala AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Santio couldn't finish the play. If Amador Santio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Saverio Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOMBA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cornelio Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd match minute, Irala AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Santio to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Emiliano Xacintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 51st minute, Inocencio Azevedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nunez Honesto. The goal made the score 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Azevedo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nunez Honesto saved TOMBA F.C. from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Inocencio Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, Irala AFC's Amador Santio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nunez Honesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute of the match Armando Oro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Duarte skillfully saved the ball. TOMBA F.C.'s Alberto Astudillo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inocencio Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Santio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Irala AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Amador Santio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nunez Honesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Azevedo in the 77th minute of play forced TOMBA F.C.'s goalkeeper Nunez Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Irala AFC! Ivan Duarte had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Arnulfo Gabino's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 89th minute of the match, Amador Santio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nunez Honesto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 91st minute, Inocencio Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Tadeo Lluterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irala AFC's Amador Santio managed to work through TOMBA F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Amador Santio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Amador Santio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nunez Honesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Irala AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
