In the 6th match minute, Guardianes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Mundo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Santio got free with Diego Flor in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Diego Flor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Azevedo in the 18th minute of play forced Guardianes's goalkeeper Diego Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Amador Santio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Flor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Diego Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Azevedo in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Guardianes getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Desiderio Astigar hit a great ball. Irala AFC's Gonzalo Otoniel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guardianes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Eneas in the 31st minute of play forced Guardianes's goalkeeper Diego Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Flor made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Inocencio Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Desiderio Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Duarte having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Guardianes's goalkeeper Diego Flor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amador Santio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Inocencio Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Azevedo in the 54th minute of play forced Guardianes's goalkeeper Diego Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Irala AFC booed when Guardianes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Astigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Irala AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 71 minutes in the game Gonzalo Otoniel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emiliano Xacintu. Guardianes's attentive Maximo Quiroga managed to snatch the ball when Ramiro Orlin made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Gonzalo Otoniel got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramiro Orlin. After a rather tough play, Guardianes's Desiderio Astigar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Andres Tauro fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Irala AFC's protests and gave Andres Tauro a yellow card for diving instead. Andres Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ivan Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Mouricio in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Guardianes getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Desiderio Astigar hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Guardianes's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Azevedo came free, but Diego Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Guardianes's Ivan Duarte threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clodoveo Mouricio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Irala AFC had played much better football throughout.
