Menucos Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Menucos Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boca Juniors:s goal. A collision led to Menucos Club getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Charles Izquierdoz hit a great ball. 2-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Eliseo Cucao elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alfredo Nardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boca Juniors's Tomás Beturian pulled a muscle in his leg after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Charles Izquierdoz charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Izquierdoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Menucos Club's Charles Izquierdoz got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 26th minute Christian Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Eneas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Eutor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charles Izquierdoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Silvio Mosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Menucos Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Jacob didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Amado Mano made the kick off in the second half. If Alfredo Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Eneas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Mano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Rafael Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menucos Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Jacob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Mosen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Alfredo Nardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arsenio Eneas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 68th minute, Alfredo Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match, Vinicio Viator got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silvio Mosen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 71 minutes, Leonides Macerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menucos Club and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Menucos Club got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Jacob. When Fernando Eutor fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menucos Club's protests and gave Fernando Eutor a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Eutor kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Janpier to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Silvio Mosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th play minute Charles Izquierdoz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silvio Mosen. 4-1. Christian Janpier hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Boca Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
