The crowd rose to their feet as Vikingo FC's Federico Bero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Freddy Abaunza. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 15th minute, Jaime Froylan made a precise shot to the right of Andres Havier. Vikingo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Marco Sansone's late challenge caught a Vikingo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Sansone helped the player get up and apologised. Marco Sansone kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barcala FC's zone, Bernabe Erruki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Abaunza came out of the goal and Bernabe Erruki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Federico Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Federico Bero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Freddy Abaunza, passed just outside the right post. Bernabe Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barcala FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Federico Bero scored to the left of an out of position Freddy Abaunza, making the score, 3-1. 36 minutes into the game, Adrian Tello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcala FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikingo FC the free kick. The supporters of Vikingo FC booed when Barcala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Tello didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Barcala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Bero came free, but Freddy Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe Erruki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Freddy Abaunza made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, Vikingo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Freddy Abaunza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Erruki's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Freddy Abaunza came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Vikingo FC's Inocencio Brun. But to his dismay, Inocencio Brun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 64thth minute of the game Bernabe Erruki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcala FC's Freddy Abaunza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Vikingo FC's Federico Bero made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Abaunza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Federico Bero struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Freddy Abaunza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikingo FC. If Federico Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Bero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Nisio charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Nisio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Barcala FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Nisio. In the 88th minute, Federico Bero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vikingo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Bero in the 95th minute of play forced Barcala FC's goalkeeper Freddy Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Bero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vikingo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
