Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Pio in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Quirce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Armando Rik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fiera's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Rik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Ramiro Piorno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Buitres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alvaro Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Fabian Pio made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Quirce. Fiera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Urtsin in the 36th minute of play forced Los Buitres's goalkeeper Alvaro Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Martino struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Alvaro Frutos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiera. Prospero Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Garikoitz in the 61st minute of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Buitres would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
