In the 25th minute, Mariano Erasto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernan Fagildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Arsenio Eneas made a huge save. Ulises Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Viator, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leonides Marcones made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernan Fagildo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio Eneas saved Menucos Club from getting behind. If Rafael Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Herrera in the 60th minute of play forced Menucos Club's goalkeeper Arsenio Eneas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Marcones scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Eneas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 played minutes Eldorado FC got a freekick which was hit by Omar Herrera. In the 79th match minute, Menucos Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Jacob to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Eutor did an outstanding performance 89 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Ulises Bonadona in the goal. Eldorado FC's Leonides Marcones got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Menucos Club's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Eldorado FC had won, even though Menucos Club had held more of the ball.
