Spectators: 7086 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1516, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Pudes started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Santiago Jaunti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saladillo and the Buenos Aires FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santiago Jaunti hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Simon Pudes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Casimiro Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Antonio Mingo, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Blas Rio came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Saladillo's Aureliano Pitin. But to his dismay, Aureliano Pitin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fabián Herzl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Pudes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Blas Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Pitin in the 26th minute of play forced Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Blas Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Pitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simon Pudes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Buenos Aires FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 34 minutes in the game, Herminio Bartolome dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Herminio Bartolome took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Rio. Blas Rio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Blas Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Bartolome in the 44th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Bartolome to make the kick off. Fabián Herzl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Pudes's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Buenos Aires FC's Blas Rio got control of the ball when Aureliano Pitin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aureliano Pitin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Blas Rio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Blas Rio managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Saladillo's Aureliano Pitin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 66 minutes, Anibal Austin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saladillo and the Buenos Aires FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anibal Austin hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Blas Rio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Herminio Bartolome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Rio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Pitin got free with Blas Rio in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos Ranolfo's late challenge caught a Saladillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Ranolfo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Buenos Aires FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Santos Ranolfo hit a great ball. Gilberto Cedro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fabián Herzl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Saladillo's Aureliano Pitin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blas Rio. That made the score 0-3 after 92 minutes of play. If Herminio Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saladillo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
