If Gilberto Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Botija got a freekick which was hit by Leo Ferman. After 23 played minutes, Buenos Aires FC's Ciriaco Lehen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blas Urtats came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buenos Aires FC reached it. Buenos Aires FC's Gilberto Cedro got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Buenos Aires FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Santos Ranolfo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Salvidor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Rio was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Gilberto Cedro struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Blas Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenos Aires FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Pudes to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Pudes had several of the Botija's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Blas Urtats as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gualterio Salvidor struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Blas Rio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botija. Simon Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Urtats having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Gilberto Cedro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blas Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Buenos Aires FC's Blas Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Lander in the 74th minute of play. If Simon Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Buenos Aires FC's zone, Cristo Lander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Rio came out of the goal and Cristo Lander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gilberto Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
