Marcial Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Oskitz in the 6th minute of play. Celedonio Bladi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Oskitz in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Benet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvaro Baristo might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Benet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Baristo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tomás Oskitz sped through Pieres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcial Benet. Alvaro Baristo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Reynaldo Libertad scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrosio Frances, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. River Black's Alvaro Baristo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pieres's zone, Tomás Oskitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Benet came out of the goal and Tomás Oskitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Bladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marcial Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match Nicolas Duarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Benet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Oskitz in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Benet saved Pieres from getting behind. After a rather tough play, River Black's Ubaldo Ixaka got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, River Black's goalkeeper Ambrosio Frances had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Piorno.

The wind increased when Tomás Oskitz made the kick off in the second half. River Black's Celedonio Bladi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eusebio Romero in the 53 minute of the game. Ambrosio Frances took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Piorno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ambrosio Frances showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ambrosio Frances showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Piorno in the 59th minute of the match. Marcial Benet was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicolas Duarte. Tomás Oskitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marcial Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, River Black's Alvaro Baristo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Tomás Oskitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Marcial Benet made a huge save. The supporters of River Black booed when Pieres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Bonifaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Oskitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Benet having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Alvaro Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Black's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Baristo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Oskitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Benet having to interfere. Marcial Benet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Baristo in the 87th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Tomás Oskitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Black's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Oskitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pieres succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though River Black had controlled the match.
