Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gualterio Salvidor started the match with the kick off. Tadeo Gaspard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Urtats having to interfere. Blas Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Firmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Cristo Lander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Alberto Leguizamón made a huge save. If Cristo Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Belarmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Blas Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Botija's Carolo Argider seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carolo Argider the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Botija protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carolo Argider had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 38 minutes into the game, one of Botija:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Blas Urtats had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Luciano Peli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Botija's Leo Ferman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alberto Leguizamón. That made the score 1-1 after 44 minutes of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Belarmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Botija's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luciano Peli who took care of the corner kick. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Botija's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luciano Peli was slow to take the kick. During this time Chalacea FC's players had a chance to rest. Alberto Leguizamón came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Botija's Cristo Lander. But to his dismay, Cristo Lander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Florentino Firmin struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Blas Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalacea FC. The supporters of Chalacea FC booed when Botija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Chalacea FC's Alvaro Belarmo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Cristo Lander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Cristo Lander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Botija fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Cristo Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Leguizamón having to interfere. In the 78th minute Cristo Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Leguizamón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Lander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alberto Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristo Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Cristo Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Leguizamón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Botija's Cristo Lander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Leguizamón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chalacea FC's Florentino Firmin got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Botija's Blas Urtats got control of the ball when Florentino Firmin tried to sneak it across the goal line.
