Cadillal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pieres the free kick. Hernan Dolfos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Benet having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Carolo Godoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Benet was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Jonatan Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Bemabe having to interfere. Cadillal's Sixto Bemabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Iban in the 26th minute of play. Sixto Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Hernan Dolfos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Marcial Benet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadillal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Carolo Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadillal's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Benet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pieres booed when Cadillal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Santikurtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Pieres got a corner. Cadillal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian Serapio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Christian Serapio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sixto Bemabe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sixto Bemabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Jonathan Bonifaco hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jonatan Piornos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Sixto Bemabe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sixto Bemabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Pieres's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Godoy came free, but Marcial Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hernan Dolfos came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cadillal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Dolfos couldn't finish the play. After 74 minutes of play, Cadillal's Carolo Godoy made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Benet was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 78 played minutes Pieres got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Libertad. Hernan Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Benet having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Dolfos in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Benet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jonatan Piorno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute Celso Iban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Bemabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
