After having played for 11 minutes, Simon Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenos Aires FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Pudes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Xeneizes by Sergio's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Pudes came free, but Fausto Hermon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Ordono during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zeledon Ordono kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Fausto Hermon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Simon Pudes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. When Simon Pudes came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Buenos Aires FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Pudes couldn't finish the play. Gilberto Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Hermon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Isadore in the 39th minute of play forced Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Blas Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires FC's Generoso Tancredo got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Isadore was the one to do the kick off. Fausto Hermon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Norberto Gumaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xeneizes by Sergio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenos Aires FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes by Sergio's Norberto Gumaro got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Buenos Aires FC got a corner. Xeneizes by Sergio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Mingo ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Crescencio in the 82nd minute of play forced Xeneizes by Sergio's goalkeeper Fausto Hermon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Xeneizes by Sergio defense, Simon Pudes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Hermon. The Xeneizes by Sergio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Hermon should have stopped the shot. Zeledon Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Rio having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Buenos Aires FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
