Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Gilberto Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenos Aires FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Cedro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Pudes made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Gil in the 52nd minute of play forced Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Blas Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Gil in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Simon Pudes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guido Teodor, 0-2. In the 84th minute, Los Infernales's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilberto Cedro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Buenos Aires FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
