Alvaro Belarmo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Chalacea FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Florentino Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Hermon having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Alejandro Bikendi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alberto Leguizamón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th match minute, Xeneizes by Sergio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Xeneizes by Sergio's goalkeeper Fausto Hermon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Firmin. Florentino Firmin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Fausto Hermon made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Alvaro Belarmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chalacea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Belarmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Hermon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Conrado Distiratsu fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xeneizes by Sergio's protests and gave Conrado Distiratsu a yellow card for diving instead. Florentino Firmin came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fausto Hermon could save by the left post. Fausto Hermon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Belarmo in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Xeneizes by Sergio's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Belarmo came free, but Fausto Hermon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Belarmo had several of the Xeneizes by Sergio's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Fausto Hermon as he didn't even see the shot coming. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 57th minute, Norberto Gumaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alvaro Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Chalacea FC defense, Alejandro Bikendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Leguizamón. The Chalacea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Leguizamón should have stopped the shot.
